Hello there, ladies and gentlemen.
Hello there, ladies and gents, are you ready to rock?
Are you ready or not?

Okay, so it was a 38 Special concert and Cheap Trick was the opening act. But for me, it was just the opposite. I went to this concert to see Cheap Trick. Nothing against 38 Special. I just wasn’t a big fan. But I’ve always liked Cheap Trick. I think Robin Zander was one of the best vocalists during that time period.

And as a guitar player myself, I loved Rick Nielsen’s guitar collection. He had some sweet guitars!

One final note. Live At Budokan has to be included in the list of best live albums! In fact, I’m listening to it right now on iTunes as I write this. cool

this site really takes me back. My dad used to deliver those tickets by hand way back when.. And I too have been to almost all the concerts listed! You must live in the same area!

I love this idea! If you’d gone to many concerts in the mid-to-late 70s, it’s possible we may have attended some of the same concerts, as the venues are familiar. :-)

Growing up I loved Chep Trick. Still do. There was a band and in our town at the lead singer looked just like Robin Zanders.

Your post took me down memory lane. Thanks!
