REM, Fables of the Reconstruction tour, was a great show.

I saw Midnight Oil open for UB40 in ‘85. They were so good that UB40 was a real downer and we left early.

The same year I saw The Cure in a relatively small venue and had a ‘moment’ with Robert Smith. He looked up (he always stares at his feet when on stage) and we met eyes for about a second — but a second I will never forget :smile:

And then there were the hardcore shows… those were the days!
