I went to this fest. It was my first huge fest. absolutly was excellent in everyway. I ended up hitchhiking back to Tampa. Ted Nugent & Aerosmith, Frank Marino & Mahoganey Rush, Cheap Trick Brownsville Station, & Blackfoot. Incredible show. Aerosmith was in rare yet sleek shape. Ted Nugent was prancing around, rippin out serious riff after riff. Even joined Aerosmith on stage for milk cow blues and train kept a rolling. This show absolutly goes down large in my historic concert history files. memory and all. Frank Marino & Mahoganey Rush totally was surpurb. I also went to another fest There in Orlando 1979. Featured Boston, AC-DC, Poco, and The Doobie Brothers. Incredible as well. Bahama Kin

Great to see that ticketstub again. Brings back tons of memories. Happened to be visiting from California. One of the greatest shows ever. Cheap Trick tore the place apart. Blackfoot brought out their uncle who plays the harmonica on their hit. Steve Tyler passed out on stage. Nugent leapt from 20 feet off the speakers to the stage at the beginning of the show. After the show our car was towed and we slept on the orlando police station floor.

I was at this concert. We piled into a U-Haul and drove over from St. Petersburg. I was 16 at the time and had an absolute blast. The highlight of my day was when a girl I never met before got up onto my shoulders and flashed her boobs for Ted Nugent.

Could it really be 27 years since that day? I just took my 15 and 17 year old sons to a Ted Nugent concert last night, looks like I’ve gone full circle.
