Jefferson Starship

The colest thing about this concert was the guitar work of Craig Chaquico! I have some of his solo jazz cds. Good stuff.

    Hi Scooby,
Your weblog is very unique, I like it!
My favorite bands are Queen, Kansas, Rush, Chicago and Beatles.

I noticed the Who ticket stub from 1982. By any chance did the Clash open? If so, you are a very lucky person and I envy you…I was 11 and wasn’t so lucky.

Randy, I think Joan Jett and The B-52s opened up the show. I would trade them both for the Clash!

Hi mymusic, thanks! I saw Rush & Chicago in concert, but not Queen, Kansas or the Beatles. Great bands!

I saw Starship just last summer at a concert in Playland park in Rye NY, also saw The Bangels and Cyndi Lauper there the year before. I actually was able to interview and meet Cyndi after the concert. Wrote an article on it that’s at her site http://www.cyndilauper.com/article_det.php?display=all&art_id=1285

Also awesome blog, can’t wait to read more about the concerts you saw.
